Dan Hill Plast A/S was established in 1957 by Ejnar Madsen, who had an unerring eye for the possibilities offered by the new plastic materials invented in the post-war years.

Ejnar Madsen created his first products in very small premises, actually it was in a laundry room in Brabrand close to Aarhus. Shortly afterwards he bought a disused power station in Hornsyld close to Juelsminde. His first products were tiny figurines and squeak animals, later puppets and other products manufactured in vinyl were added. True to his Jutlandic upbringing he didn't spend more money than he earned, and the company developed quickly, so that it soon became necessary to build new premises. Today the company is still located in its initial location.

During the next 4 decades, balls, fenders and technical products were added to the range of products, and the company continually started new projects and found new product groups.

Today more than 50 years after the first products left the factory, Dan Hill Plast A/S is a super modern company with 75 employees and a comprehensive production plant including the latest modern technology. Confronted with the industrial development in Denmark and in the rest of Europe, products have gone from simple to complicated, as they have integrated other technologies and processes. Dan Hill Plast A/S is capable of supplying practically every kind of rotationally moulded work pieces for any purpose in many lines of business.
